The Quad electrostatics were a good original pair perched on old EPOS ES14 stands not for any other reason that they were the only stands that would flat pack and fit in the remaining room in our van.

We had intended to use some One Thing rebuilt Quads but someone bought them just a couple of weeks before the show.

Bass was filled out with a Velodyne subwoofer but was hardly needed in the room.

Many visitors commented that this was the best that they had ever heard the old Quads sound- this I put down to the Quality of the Viva Solista amp, it has just received a Stereophile Class A component award and Ken Kessler is due to review it later this year.

The Lector CDP7T cd player sounded awesome, amazingly musical for an affordable £1990
