überphon is the exclusive UK distributor of Phonosophie High Fidelity and ALR Jordan, two premium quality brands from Germany . Concentrating on high-end two channel, we aim to provide systems that enable the listener to get as close as possible to the original live performance, both technically and emotionally.

Brands:

ALR Jordan is a long established and well-regarded loudspeaker manufacturer, based in north-west Germany . With three ranges (Entry, Classic and Note series) and prices from £250 to over £7,500, there are models ideally suited for most requirements. ALR Jordan is an Anglo-German partnership, each model having been designed by Karl-Heinz Fink of ALR, using aluminium cone mid-bass drivers designed by Ted Jordan. Soft dome fabric tweeters and a selection of high quality cabinets complete the overall package which is summarised by the strap-line "British sound & German engineering".

Phonosophie High Fidelity offers high-end performance through their overall “More Live” philosophy via a complete range of analogue and digital source components, amplification, speakers and accessories. Each product is designed with the sole objective of achieving the best possible sound quality at a given price. Hand-built in Germany to an uncompromising quality standard, the result is a system capable of delivering a truly musical performance.

Phonosophie also works closely with an Austrian company called Artkustik for whom we distribute the Audio Animator and Room Animator products in the UK . These quartz technology products are designed to optimise the performance of hi-fi components and listening environment .

Exhibitor's comments:

The systems comprised Phonosophie source and amplification components on Phonosophie support equipment via ALR Jordan loudspeakers. Mains cables, distribution blocks, interconnects, speaker cables and accessories were all from Phonosophie.

• three different versions of the Phonosophie No 3 turntable (with tonearms from Kuzma, Naim Audio and Phonosophie) all with the Phonosophie Flair mc cartridge
